In 2014, ConnectLife started a partnership with 6 pilot Catholic schools in the Western New York area in support of their STREAM education initiative. ConnectLife ran a 6 module based program for schools offering STREAM education to their students. This program introduced students to organ, eye, tissue, and blood donation. Students learned about donation as well as how to keep their bodies healthy through proper nutrition and exercise. Students also had the opportunity to hear from someone whose live has been directly impacted by donation. At the end of the 6 weeks, students created individual or group presentations to share with teachers, families, and ConnectLife staff to demonstrate the knowledge they obtained.
Below are the schools who have partnered with ConnectLife for the STREAM program. If your school is interested in partnering with ConnectLife next year, please contact Maureen MacLefko, Manager of Education and Mission Integration, at 716-529-4353 or submit the form below.
