Donate Life ECHO is a national two-week outreach campaign in July and focuses on the importance of donation and transplantation in multicultural communities.
ECHO stands for Every Community Has Opportunity – the opportunity to save and heal lives.
This year, Unyts celebrated Donate Life ECHO by sharing the following graphics on social media campaign and also by having Walgreens tabling events on July 20, 2019. We encouraged our followers and people in our community to utilize their voices and share their decision to register with family members, friend groups, neighbors, and coworkers.

There are many members of minority communities right here in Western New York More that are on the waiting list to recieve a life-saving organ. While it is true that matches can be made across racial and ethnic lines, a successful transplant is more likely to occur when the donor and the person recieving the transplant come from the background.
By encouraging others to share their experiences and wishes within their community, we hope to inspire others to register as donors themselves. To join the registry, please visit
