To our WNY community and supporters, remember that social distancing does not mean social disengagement. It is critical that you book an appointment to donate blood in the next month, specifically after April 6, 2020. We are taking appointments ONLY. Our team is working to even out appointment slots to ensure our staff and donors are safe AND the blood supply is stable well into April.
Even if you can't find an appointment right now - local patients at WNY hospitals will still need you in the coming weeks. Click here to schedule your appointment to donate blood – appointments available throughout April.
Important Update: ConnectLife's Eastern Hills Blood Donation Center is moving to ConnectLife headquarters - effective immediately. We are continuing to monitor the outbreak of COVID-19. Information and resources on COVID-19, blood donation, and social distancing can be found here.
Kevin M. Snyder is a regular blood donor at the Unyts Neighborhood Blood Donation at the Southgate Plaza in West Seneca, and has been supporting Unyts through blood donation since 2011.
As a Vietnam War veteran Kevin understands the need for donating blood, and he first began donating for the troops serving in Desert Storm. He also underwent open heart surgery at Buffalo General Medical Center in 1999 and was comforted knowing that there was blood available if he was to need it.
Kevin wants the community to know that donated blood provides lifesaving help to others and allows your own body to re-generate in a natural cycle. He is committed in continuing to donate blood with Unyts because he knows that one day it may save someone’s life.
