To our WNY community and supporters, remember that social distancing does not mean social disengagement. It is critical that you book an appointment to donate blood in the next month, specifically after April 6, 2020. We are taking appointments ONLY. Our team is working to even out appointment slots to ensure our staff and donors are safe AND the blood supply is stable well into April.
Even if you can't find an appointment right now - local patients at WNY hospitals will still need you in the coming weeks. Click here to schedule your appointment to donate blood – appointments available throughout April.
Important Update: ConnectLife's Eastern Hills Blood Donation Center is moving to ConnectLife headquarters - effective immediately. We are continuing to monitor the outbreak of COVID-19. Information and resources on COVID-19, blood donation, and social distancing can be found here.

Vicki Lang has always been an advocate of giving the gift of life through donation. Vicki’s mother passed away in the early 90s and Vicki made the loving choice of donating her mother’s organs as one of Unyts’ first organ donors.
Vicki herself has also been an advocate of blood donation. This year, Vicki’s son, Johnny, was faced with a major medical emergency and received a number of life saving transfusions. A month later, Vicki’s 5th grandchild, Evelyn, was born with numerous medical issues and required immediate surgeries and multiple blood and platelet transfusions. Evelyn is going to need future surgeries and likely more transfusions as well.
Vicki still tries to make the time to donate blood herself, even while taking on the responsibility of caring for Evelyn and her other two young granddaughters. Vicki has been through many trials with her family, but above all she is grateful and humbled by the generosity of Unyts donors who have saved her loved ones lives!
