This is my Mom. Jean Clontz. She received countless blood transfusions throughout 2015. She had two major surgeries and many other procedures to try and keep her arteries in her leg open. Each time she had a procedure she had to take blood thinners which caused internal bleeding; which then led to her need for blood transfusions. Doctors would have to stop blood thinners which again led to no blood flow in her leg. It was a vicious cycle that happened every month from February to September of last year. All the procedures eventually led to kidney failure and my Mom passed away October 21.
There are no words except to say thank you. If anyone thinks donating blood is no big deal, think again; it's a huge deal.
