What Are The Trees of Life?

ConnectLife is excited to announce our new Trees of Life program. The program officially began January 15, 2020, as a way to honor and celebrate local organ, eye, tissue, birth tissue, and blood donors. A wall of trees has been installed at our headquarters, and, together as an organization, we will fill the trees with five special leaves. A special leaf will be added as a symbol of each donor’s gift. We then have a moment of silence after the names are read and each leaf is laid on the trees.

COVID-19 UPDATE: Because of COVID-19, our Trees of Life program will now happen once a month - at the beginning of every month. Our team at ConnectLife will continue to honor those who have given the gift of life and read the names of the previous month's donors and milestone blood donors while practicing social distancing. Each ceremony is recorded and shared on our YouTube channel and social media pages. We have created a Trees of Life playlist on ConnectLife's YouTube Channel. Watch the videos here.
