Your Donation to ConnectLife Will Go For Miles

Our mobile blood buses allow ConnectLife to host blood drives across Western New York. You may have seen one of our buses driving across town, or you may have even given blood on one. Without these buses, it would make our vision to support New Yorkers’ inherent desire to do good – to donate blood – much more difficult!

That is why we are asking for help from you, our community, and our supporters. We need a new bus!

As Western New York’s only community blood bank, it is our responsibility to provide the blood needed by our local hospitals. And ConnectLife blood donors help supply more than 75% of the blood right here in our community. That blood saves local lives, like Mallory and her newborn son, Oaklee.

“On November 19, 2020, our family welcomed our third child, Oaklee, into the world. Due to pregnancy complications, he was delivered via C-section and as a result I had a significant amount of blood loss, 14 pints to be exact. The blood I received during my transfusions came directly from donors at ConnectLife and ultimately saved my life,” says Mallory.

One year later, Mallory and her family hosted a blood drive on Oaklee’s birthday to celebrate life and replenish the blood supply. And it was a true success.

Our goal is to raise enough funds to purchase a new bus to add to our fleet. Buses make it possible for ConnectLife to make blood donation more convenient. We can come to where our donors live and work and make it easier for Western New York to donate more regularly.

We kindly ask for your help to make it possible. Would you be able to donate $25, $50, $100, or more to help us meet our goal. Any amount will truly make an impact and continue our work to support families just like Mallory’s in Western New York.

We are so thankful for your support and for being a part of the ConnectLife family. Together, we can bring a new bus to our community.
