ConnectLife, Buffalo Sabres team up to reward fans who save lives
ConnectLife, Western New York’s only community blood bank, is excited to be cheering on the Buffalo Sabres once again – and hundreds of donors over the next two months will be doing that cheering in person.
Throughout November and December, 15 donors each day will be randomly drawn to win a pair of tickets to an upcoming Sabres home game. Those winners will be emailed a code that can be redeemed online for select games in January.
“Last year, this promotion hit just as the Sabres went on their incredible winning streak that turned around their season,” Sarah Diina, Senior Director of Communications & External Affairs at ConnectLife. “We could barely find enough appointments for all the fans who wanted to donate and be a part of this lifesaving giveaway. And we know the Blue and Gold faithful will be there again this year to make sure local hospitals are ready to save lives in an emergency.”

All donors will also walk away with Buffalo Sabres winter hats, perfect for staying warm while celebrating a Tage Thompson goal inside KeyBank Center. And new this season, donors can use rewards points to enter monthly Sabres ticket raffles throughout the season in the ConnectLife donor rewards store.
All the blood donated to ConnectLife stays local, helping nearly every hospital in WNY’s eight counties maintain safe inventory levels. Donation appointments are available at centers in Williamsville, West Seneca, and Tonawanda, as well as mobile donation sites around the area each day. To schedule an appointment, visit ConnectLifeGiveBlood.org or call 716.529.4270.
