We need WNYers to come in to donate blood this week! A summer shortage has caused an increased need for blood and platelet donation. Come in and get some special "thank yous" including an Independence Day t-shirt, Delta Sonic gift card, and a chance to win a pair of tickets to a preseason game at the new stadium.

Throughout the month of June, all ConnectLife blood donors will walk away with a $5 Tim Hortons gift card.

For as long as that playoff run lasts, ConnectLife will be raffling off two pairs of tickets to each Buffalo Sabres home playoff game.

Two days before Christmas, the Buffalo Sabres are partnering with ConnectLife to hold a big blood drive at KeyBank Center’s 1970 Club – December 23rd from 10am to 4pm.

In September 2015, Shawn became a hero to many, when his selfless act of organ donation gave the Gift of Life to five people. Through corneal donations, Shawn additionally provided two others the opportunity to see again. The non-profit organization Shawn’s Heroes for Life continues his legacy by honoring and enhancing the lives of veterans and those in need, and by increasing organ donation awareness.

The ”Save Our Summer” campaign will feature blood drives at police stations, firehalls, and other facilities this summer.

These exceptional honorees have helped to save hundreds and thousands of lives across Western New York.
