The Sabres are back in the playoffs, and donating blood could get you there too!
The end of the Buffalo Sabres’ playoff drought is a long time coming for fans of the Blue and Gold, who can’t wait to get in the stands and cheer them on in their run for the Stanley Cup. And every time they take the ice, a couple of lucky ConnectLife blood donors will be right there in the crowd.
For as long as that playoff run lasts, ConnectLife will be raffling off two pairs of tickets to each Buffalo Sabres home playoff game. The winners will be chosen from all donors that month – so anyone who donates in April will be entered for all April drawings, and so on with any future months.
“In the years since the Sabres last made the playoffs, we’ve welcomed more than 107,000 blood donors and collected enough blood to impact one million lives,” said Sarah Diina, Senior Director of Communications & External Affairs at ConnectLife. “The return to the playoffs has been a long time coming, and we couldn’t be more excited to cheer on the incredible community partners that we have in the Sabres.”
All April donors will also receive an exclusive ConnectLife-Sabres co-branded shirt, along with reward points in the ConnectLife online store where they can find more Sabres gear including shirts and hats.
All the blood donated to ConnectLife stays local, helping nearly every hospital in WNY’s eight counties maintain safe inventory levels. Donation appointments are available at centers in Williamsville, West Seneca, and Tonawanda, as well as mobile donation sites around the area each day.
