ConnectLife teams up with Buffalo Bills for August giveaways
Donors to receive Bills mini-cooler bags and chances at regular-season tickets
With WNY hospitals facing blood shortages daily, ConnectLife and the Buffalo Bills are teaming up to give fans the chance to save lives, show their team pride and even get to a game with the season just around the corner.
All August donors at ConnectLife donation centers and blood drives will receive a Bills six-can cooler bag, as well as entry into weekly drawings for a pair of tickets to a Bills regular season game. ConnectLife will reward three donors each week in August with those tickets.
“Summer is typically the toughest time for blood donations, between vacations, the nice weather and summer breaks at schools,” said Sarah Diina, ConnectLife’s Senior Director of Marketing & Community Development. “It’s also a time when the need is greatest, so we’re thrilled to have the Bills on our team to offer these great rewards to help fans feel good about saving lives while getting ready for kickoff.”
ConnectLife has staff available for interviews about the need for blood and this month’s promotion by request, as well as video and photo opportunities of the coolers and at blood drives.
