Born on July 2, 2009
Passed away on July 7, 2014 just 5 days after turning 5 years old

As told by her mom, Iesha Cintron
Beatriz was a fighter in her short life. When she was born she was diagnosed with cerebral palsy and a seizure disorder, and doctors estimated she would only live for 72 hours. She was constantly going to doctors’ appointments and in the hospital, but she was a loved little girl by everyone she crossed by. Beatriz loved music, painting and spending time with family. She also loved books.
Through her organ donation I learned that helping others the best thing you can do. Organ donation or blood donation is a very special way to give someone a new opportunity. It was hard to know that my loved one was gone, but I thank God that her organs could save a life. This is something I will be proud to say all my life; that my little girl was a fighter and with her donation she continues to fight for someone. Unyts was very supportive in my hard moments and were there every step of the way.
I am grateful for that, and can't thank them enough.
