Honoring Our Heroes... David L Buonamici

ree

David was a loving, loyal and generous person who was always looking for ways to give back and help those in need. He was a member of Local 42, an active volunteer for Habitat for Humanity, the Special Olympics, St Luke's Food Pantry, and the City Mission. David loved electronics and taking things apart to figure out how they ran. He was in the Navy right out of high school to further his electrical skills. From there he joined Local 42 and continued his studies by going to school. He loved snowboarding, helping his mom in the kitchen, spending time with friends and family, carpentry, and helping in the community.

Even upon his death, David continued to give back to the community through organ and tissue donation. When he died David left behind his mom and stepdad, twin brother Dean, an older sister and three other brothers, and his soon to be wife Katie.

David's family honors his memory by doing things with the family that would make everyone smile and be happy. A memory garden was planted in his mother’s yard with all of David's favorite colors and fragrances.

David’s family misses him so much, but knowing that he lives on within his recipients makes them very happy. They are thankful that he was able to give life and love to others. His huge heart has now given someone else a chance to live.
