Jesse Smith of Buffalo was a loving husband, father and grandfather. “He enjoyed providing for the family,” said his wife Dixie.

“He was an avid fisherman with the Eastside Angler's Fishing Club,” she remembered.

“By staying in touch with family members we remember the good thoughts and memories he has left behind,” Dixie said.

After his passing on April 1, 2011 at the age of 67, Jesse became a tissue donor, a gift that helps to enhance the lives of others.

He was buried with military honors in St. Matthew’s Cemetery in West Seneca. “Each year we visit his grave and place fresh flowers,” said Dixie. “We wear t-shirts with the saying of ‘Gone but Not Forgotten.’ ”
