Honor Your Hero, Nicholas Golembieski

Updated: Aug 3, 2023

Story as told by Nicholas' family

Nicholas Golembieski with his children

Nick was the kind of person who was kind to everyone he met. He would do anything for anyone and worked hard his entire life. Nick had a passion for science, and he even had two master’s degrees in physics along with having a very successful MMA career.

Nick was an amazing father who cherished every moment he had with his children. He loved playing lacrosse with his son Jackson, spending time with his daughter Grace and brothers Fred and Cliff, and being with his rescue dog Winter. He had an immense love for his mother Lorie and spent a lot of time with her at her home. His loss has left an emptiness in her heart.

On November 6, 2022, Nick tragically passed away. There will always be a void left in all our hearts because he can never be replaced.

Nicholas Golembieski and his son Jackson

We keep his memory alive in all of us. We share stories and cherish the photos and videos we have of him. His son Jackson is a spitting image of Nick and along with his daughter Grace - they will forever carry their father's memory and keep it alive. He is missed sitting on the sidelines of his son's lacrosse games where he never missed a game.

What gives our family some peace is that even though we don't have Nick with us anymore, he was able to help others to stay alive and improve their quality of life through donating both of his kidneys, eyes, and tissues. His generosity extended even into his death. He wanted nothing more than to help others when was no longer with us. He is a true hero.
