ConnectLife, Buffalo Bills plan blood drive as fans prepare to say farewell to One Bills Drive

Just a few months from now, Highmark Stadium will host its final Bills game. With that bittersweet day coming, ConnectLife and the team want to give fans one more chance to get inside.

November 26th, the day before Thanksgiving, Western New York’s only community blood bank will welcome donors for a blood drive from 9am to 3pm in Highmark Stadium’s Toyota Club. To celebrate the special occasion, ConnectLife will be holding raffles throughout the day, with prizes including an autographed Josh Allen jersey, an autographed Greg Rousseau helmet, and tickets to the final regular season home game at the stadium against the Jets.

“The Buffalo Bills are incredible supporters of ConnectLife’s mission to save lives through blood donation in Western New York,” said Sarah Diina, Senior Director of Communications & External Affairs at ConnectLife. “It’s all the more important to have that support leading into a holiday weekend when blood donors are hard to find, even while the need is still high at Western New York hospitals”

All November donors, including those at the Highmark Stadium drive, will receive a pair of “I Bleed Blue” Buffalo Bills gloves. And donations there will count towards the end-of-year Suite Seats raffle – a suite for 16 to the final Bills-Jets game. Details of that raffle can be found here.

Blood donated to ConnectLife stays local, helping nearly every hospital in WNY’s eight counties maintain safe inventory levels. Donation appointments are available at centers in Williamsville, West Seneca, Tonawanda and at blood drives around the area.
