ConnectLife & the Bills team up to give a lifesaver a suite to the final home game
When the Buffalo Bills say goodbye to Highmark Stadium in January, one blood donor and 15 of their friends will be enjoying that sendoff from one of the best seats in the house.
ConnectLife and the Bills are giving away a suite for 16 to that final game against the New York Jets the first weekend of January, exact date to be announced. Entering is easy: make one double red donation, two whole blood donations, or four platelet donations between August 1 and December 31. ConnectLife will draw a winner from all qualified donors by Friday, January 2nd – just in time for that final home game the following weekend.
“For a lot of our donors, this is a bonus for the generous donations they already have on their calendars,” said Sarah Diina, Senior Director of Communications & External Affairs at ConnectLife. “But we’d encourage anyone to come in and make sure they’re up for this prize, whether they haven’t donated in years or even haven’t ever tried before! Just two donations, less than an hour of your time, puts you in the running for this once-in-a-lifetime experience.”

That contest is just part of the donor rewards over the next few months that will make any Bills fan want to shout. All August donors will receive an exclusive “I Bleed Blue” shirt, and one donor each week will win a pair of tickets to watch the Bills home opener on Sunday Night Football September 7th against the Baltimore Ravens – from the comfort of the stadium’s M&T Club.
All the blood donated to ConnectLife stays local, helping nearly every hospital in WNY’s eight counties maintain safe inventory levels. Appointments are available at centers in Williamsville, West Seneca, Tonawanda, along with mobile drives in different locations every day.
