ConnectLife to help Bills fans save lives at training camp

ConnectLife is excited to team up with the Buffalo Bills for a first-of-its-kind blood drive next week. WNY’s only community blood bank will have one of its mobile donation buses at Bills Training Camp at St. John Fisher College Tuesday, July 30th, giving fans the chance to make a quick lifesaving donation as part of their visit.

Those fans will all receive exclusive Bills hats and buy-one-get-one-free vouchers from Fattey Beer and will be entered to win a pair of all-inclusive M&T Bank Club Tickets to a Bills preseason game.

And even if fans can’t make it to this particular drive, they’ll have more opportunities in August to enjoy this team-up. The giveaways will continue weekly with club tickets for the Bills’ home opener, and all August donors will receive a Bills water bottle as a thank you for their donation.

“The Bills have been an incredible community partner in their support of ConnectLife’s lifesaving mission,” said Sarah Diina, Senior Director of Marketing & Community Development at ConnectLife. “Since all blood that’s donated here stays in Western New York, there’s a good chance that these donations will be helping fellow Bills fans – and that’s something these donors can be truly proud of!”

ConnectLife would also like to thank Western New York for the incredible community response after the emergency call for donors earlier this month. A total of 427 donors made appointments on July 9th, 10th and 11th, and ConnectLife donation centers and drives have seen nearly 20% more donors this July than July of 2023. All of that has helped restore hospitals across WNY to safe inventory levels once again.

Western New Yorkers can donate at ConnectLife centers in Williamsville, West Seneca, and Tonawanda, or at drives held daily around the area. To schedule an appointment, visit ConnectLifeGiveBlood.org or call 716.529.4270.
